General Contracting

In addition to providing professional construction services for large projects, we have a team dedicated to completing smaller renovations, facility maintenance and expansions. These jobs typically range from $1,000 to $1 million and can include anything from patching drywall to constructing an addition to your existing building. Having completed thousands of unique projects like this, we are very familiar with the custom services they require. Although smaller, these jobs receive the attention to service and quality you can expect with any Miller Davis project.

Miller Davis’s small project estimators, project managers and superintendents specialize in responding quickly to challenging, schedule-sensitive jobs while still being good stewards of our clients’ resources. We coordinate closely with you to complete work with minimal disruption to your daily operations.

We also offer master maintenance agreement contracts, which can streamline the construction procurement process and result in more cost-effective construction fees based on a larger volume of anticipated work.

Our General Contracting team focuses on:

Repairs and Maintenance

Preventative maintenance, building façade restoration, structural repairs, structural shoring, scaffolding and more.

Renovations and Expansions

Renovations and adaptive reuse and/or expansion — new room layout, walls, doors, flooring, suspended ceilings, small repairs and building additions.

Concrete

Concrete slab repair and replacement, new concrete pads, sidewalks, loading docks and dock repairs, parking expansion, footing and foundations, pipe bollards and decorative concrete.

Architectural and Interior Finishes

Miscellaneous metals, rough and finish carpentry, doors, frames, door hardware and painting.

ADA Upgrades

Ramps, sidewalks, handrails, door swing modifications and building and restroom access/entry updates.

In addition, we regularly self-perform selective demolition, concrete, steel, rough and finish carpentry, doors and hardware, interior finishes, and equipment setting and rigging for new and existing facilities. Our self-performance capabilities allow us to execute projects quickly.
