UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME
North Dining Hall, one of the University of Notre Dame’s two student dining halls, is undergoing major renovations. In order to keep the dining hall open for students, the $10 million renovations are being completed in phases to minimize the impact on students who will continue to use the dining hall during construction.
The renovations to North Dining Hall include improvements to the serving design and operation, creation of social space in the south lobby, a new east building entrance and a review and refurbishing of all major building systems including the mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The kitchen and supporting areas will be modernized and finishes in the dining room will be updated. The renovations to North Dining Hall will allow for improved accessibility, as well as enhance the aesthetic appeal of the building.
