MINISTRY WITH COMMUNITY

Ministry with Community is the only daytime shelter and resource center in the Kalamazoo area. Due to the high volume of members served, Ministry with Community’s current facility is no longer able to provide safe, efficient and adequate space.

Approximately $5 million will be raised through the Rebuilding Lives Campaign to fund the construction of the new Ministry with Community building at the corner of Edwards and Ransom Streets. The new 24,000 square foot facility will accommodate member needs through a larger kitchen and dining area, meeting space for social workers and other service agencies, classrooms for job counseling and addiction/recovery support and an expanded capacity for long-term storage, among other things.
