MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Miller Davis served as construction manager for renovations to Michigan State University’s historic Jenison Field House.
The fieldhouse was the home of MSU basketball from 1940-1989 and has since served as the main administrative and ticket office for intercollegiate athletics and many other sports. However, the fieldhouse no longer met the needs of Division I athletics, so it underwent major renovations that created functional, flexible, and collaborative spaces for coaching staff and teams.
The $6 million project focused on renovations to the second-floor office and administration areas, which include the lobby/entrance, and select renovations on the third and fourth floors. This project created functional, collaborative spaces for staff and teams and an interactive public entry with a strong identity for Jenison Field House and its occupants.
