Miller Davis served as construction manager for Kalamazoo College’s LEED-certified new natatorium, which is located on the site of the original natatorium. Miller Davis constructed the original natatorium in 1968, and after decades of use, it no longer met the needs of the College’s swim program.

The new $18M, 30,000-square-foot natatorium meets NCAA Pool Dimensions and Equipment requirements for Short-Course Swimming and Diving. The new natatorium features eight swimming competition lanes with 1-meter and 3-meter boards, on-deck seating for athletes, a dryland training room, an office suite for coaches and meet management, a high-quality timing system and large scoreboard, varsity team locker rooms for swimmers and divers, a display space of awards in the lobby, and LEED sustainable features and design elements.
