FAMILY & CHILDREN SERVICES
Family & Children Services supports up to 9,000 children and adults annually. To improve, upgrade, and expand the current facility, $5.1 million was raised through the Making Room for Hope campaign. The project included constructing a new family visitation and learning center, extensive remodeling to upgrade the Respite Youth Activity Center, renovating the Counseling Center, and relocating Child Welfare services.
The new Family Visitation and Learning Center creates a home-like atmosphere and provides indoor and outdoor spaces where children can comfortably and safely play with their families. The upgraded Respite Youth Activity Center provides space for social and emotional skill-building groups and art and music activities and acts as the on-site base for summer programs.
