EAST JACKSON COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

The $14 million bond program focuses on remodeling the existing East Jackson Middle School facility, which has sat vacant for several years, to house grades K-6. The bond program also funds remodeling at the secondary school.

Updates at the K-6 building include 4 new Kindergarten classrooms, an office addition and a state-of-the-art community room to welcome students, parents and staff. A newly renovated Media Center provides a bright and inspiring learning commons for all grades, creating opportunities for students to learn in a modern facility. Additional improvements include a new roof and new windows and doors throughout the building.
